Silicon carbide has a wide range of applications in non-ferrous metal smelting. By utilizing the characteristics of silicon carbide, good results can be achieved when indirectly heating materials at high temperatures. For example, silicon carbide can be used as a heating material for the lining of copper melting furnaces, distillation furnace trays, zinc powder furnace curved plates, aluminum electrolytic cells, etc. The high-temperature strength and good thermal conductivity of silicon carbide enable it to withstand high-temperature smelting, thus playing an important role in the smelting process of non-ferrous metals.
